I'm stumped as to what the thing on the left is.

Nash.

'61. Yiss.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:05 |

'63(?) T-bird thinks it can hide behind things. It is wrong.

I NEED IT.

'58 Mercury with conti kit? I think this is MontegoMan bait, just a conjecture.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:08 |

Website says '64
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:12 |

Website is correct, I am derp.

I want that yellow Studebaker pickup.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:14 |

Just so you know, those years of Nash are very cheap and very available. The '49s are sexier out back, though:
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:15 |

That's what I'd want. And in typical Coty fashion I'd lower it. Hovercraft status.

Hey everyone! I took the pictures while I was on my way back from doing a job for work. If I go down again, I can get more detailed pics! I wonder if they go away in the winter up here in Maine... I only got 2/3 of the lot and whatever is in the showroom must have been even better!

I thought that gen was the one that had "C.O.T.Y." stamped all over it. Not to say you're predictable, man, but it does everything a VW fastback does only more ridiculous, so yeah.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:23 |

He's crazy 'bout a Mercury!
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:25 |

These are excellent. If you go back, "better photo of this" requests might include the Roller and the Lincoln Mark Vs - some of us have unhealthy lusts. Oh, and anything defunct goes over well here, like the Nash, the Willys, etc. etc.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:25 |

Engine is in a weird ass place though.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:28 |

Yeah, but bed:
Also, it's a flathead I6 or I4. Just being flathead makes it interesting.

Ugh. Now I need one. Right when I thought the next thing I was gonna buy was a mid-70s International with 4x4.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:37 |
|
Oooh, a Nash bathtub! Very nice. I'd prefer that Turnpike Cruiser though.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:47 |
|
You could always find a mid-70's AMC Eagle with a bad body and put the 4WD under the Nash. With airbags between low and mid-height tallish.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 12:53 |
|
Oh god.
This is what I'm talking about. I'm starting to get the itch to go offroading.

Bathtub bodystyle is so kick ass I need it in my life
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:06 |

Nice boat
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:07 |
|
Everybody does. Tell you what, if I get a Nash, Hudson, or Packard, you can definitely drive it if you're in the neighborhood. I'm dead serious: my next PCH project *will be* a bathtub, no ifs, ands, or buts.

All the wants for the Willys Wagon.
Looks like a good turn out for often under-represented American manufacturers
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:16 |

That is a very generous offer thanks Ramblin. I have said it before but you rock. Go for the Packard. Then I can finally ask the man who owns one! Corny ass joke but I had to.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:25 |
|
The Packard two-doors are easy to find, but my stretch goal is a convertible. There's one in NC not two hours from me for 7k (if it's still there) that's a basket case but a good start. CURSE YOU STUDENT LOANS! CURSE YOUUUU...
It's even being sold by an auto dealer, so a loan is probably possible. Here I am accumulating sheet metal fixing tools, too. FUCK

I am currently on crutches from foot surgery, or else I'd have introduced myself and asked for some time to wander around. I am sure they get this type of request alot :)
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:35 |
|
Yikes. Still, you didn't try the "it hurts to walk, mind if I sit down... in one of these?" ploy? That'd be one way to make lemonade from that lemon.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:46 |
|
I'll remember that nugget for next time :) There is also a small dealer a bit down from this one with some real cool tiny cars, similar to MG's but completely different
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:53 |

Maybe sell the Ranchero???
![]() 11/13/2014 at 13:57 |
|
Not happening. It's currently less than the sum of its parts, since it's not all together. It's the biggest non-money reason for me not going for the Packard: Project car with parts everywhere not really saleable for equity, plus, I like it a lot.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 14:02 |

Duly noted. Carry on good sir. Another will surface when the time is right.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 14:19 |

Rabmlin', these are the tiny cars he's talking about. He can't post pics from work.
![]() 11/13/2014 at 14:48 |

Maybe some Benz's? Thought they were some odd name but do I see a few MB logo's?
THX JE as well, for posting for me!

We had a Ranchero in the family, mint condition too... my father used it to haul lawn mulch all over the place :) great car!
![]() 11/13/2014 at 15:17 |

Mine is a '63, and I'm in the process of hauling it back from being a rust heap. And stuffing a Rover V8 in it with a four speed, and Jaguar rear axle.
![]() 11/14/2014 at 09:24 |

Oh yeah. Mega want.
![]() 11/14/2014 at 09:41 |

In pea green or baby blue?
![]() 11/14/2014 at 09:45 |
|
I didn't even notice Lincoln #2 sitting behind there. I'll take green thanks.
![]() 11/14/2014 at 09:56 |

Good, I want the blue one.

Otay. Maybe if we buy them both we can get bulk discount. Those two yachts weigh the same as 4 normal vehcles after all.
